NEW PLANET TURF

OUR MISSION

New Planet Turf LLC was established to solve the environmental challenges of repurposing and reusing old and used artificial turf fields. We provide a viable and economical solution that works.

Our patent-pending mobile artificial turf processing system enables the separation and cleaning of sand and crumb rubber for installation in new turf fields.

Our process produces consistent, clean, high-quality reusable materials that can immediately be utilized in constructing and maintaining new and replacement fields.

New Planet Turf is proud member of both the American Sports Builders Association and the Synthetic Turf Council.

We’re proud members of…

The Artificial Turf Industry is Growing

We estimate that the average size of an artificial turf field is 75,000 square feet, consisting of approximately 25 tons of synthetic turf, 110 tons of sand, and 130 tons of crumb rubber. The U.S. artificial turf sports surface industry is valued at roughly $4 billion and is growing at around 10% per year due to material conversion away from natural grass.

It is estimated that up to 15,000 artificial turf fields in the US have a useful lifespan of 8 to 10 years. Each year, thousands of these fields will need to be replaced. Our solution provides customers with a viable and economical way to reuse and repurpose their entire turf fields.
